acknowledges young individuals who selflessly contribute their time and efforts to serve their communities. These awardees demonstrate a commitment to making a difference through their dedicated volunteer work.

The Visionary Award:

celebrates young individuals who display exceptional creativity, innovation, and forward thinking. These awardees have a unique vision and actively work towards implementing groundbreaking solutions to address pressing community challenges.

The Role Model Award:

recognizes young individuals who inspire and motivate others
through their exemplary behavior, actions, and accomplishments. These awardees serve
as role models for their peers, embodying values of integrity, leadership, and resilience.

The Humanitarian Award:

honors young individuals who demonstrate exceptional
compassion and empathy towards others. These awardees actively work towards
improving the lives of marginalized groups, advocating for social justice, and fostering
inclusivity.

The Barrier Breaker Award:

represents the highest recognition within the program. It is bestowed upon exceptional young individuals who have made significant contributions to breaking barriers and overcoming challenges in their communities. These awardees have demonstrated outstanding leadership, resilience, and determination in effecting positive change and inspiring others to do the same. The Barrier Breaker Award celebrates their exceptional achievements and serves as an inspiration to future generations.
For individuals under 12 years old, the award criteria will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. The Terri Foundation Youth Barrier Breaker Award Program recognizes that young individuals in this age group may have unique circumstances and contributions that deserve recognition. The evaluation will consider factors such as their level of engagement, impact on the community, and demonstration of exceptional qualities or achievements despite their young age.

All award recipients in the Terri Foundation Youth Barrier Breaker Award Program will receive a trophy and a certificate to commemorate their exceptional achievements. In addition, each recipient will be awarded a monetary prize of $200. However, for the distinguished Barrier Breaker Award recipient, the prize amount will be $400, recognizing the highest level of accomplishment and impact. These awards and prizes aim to celebrate and honor the remarkable efforts of the recipients in making a positive difference in their communities.
